Fawzia was buried at the Muslim cemetery at Raddolugama, where her mother and brother-in-law are also buried. Muslim cemeteries in Sri Lanka do not allow tombstones. A memorial tablet for Fawzia was therefore placed at "Pondside", our home in Sri Lanka.
